Helped a high school student

A young man was behind me in line at a craft store and I insisted that he put his one item with mine so I could pay for it. He was appreciative and told me he had been sent by his drama group at the last minute to buy an item needed to finish their set design! It was refreshing to hear that young people were being creative and participating in a theater activity. It was a small act of kindness but it made me feel good. My hope is that others, who witnessed this sharing and the pleasure it gave he and I both, would in turn perform an act of kindness for someone else.
